Mother's Day is just around the corner and you KNOW that we're celebrating here at The Stir. In honor of some of the best women we know, we're hosting a few fun giveaways to give back to the women who make playdates, Sunday night dinners, and everything else in between seem almost effortless.

What better way to take care of yourself than getting in some solo mom time at the gym? We're giving two lucky Stir readers a one-year membership to Planet Fitness.

We love Planet Fitness because of its cheap prices, wide range of equipment, and the wonderful massage chairs. Plus until May 15, they're donating the $10 enrollment fee to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

What do I do when I go to the gym? Uhmm... well I don't! So this would be perfect. Before I had my daughter I would play volleyball to stay in shape. Also, yoga is great work out to help you feel long and lean!

Ahh! I need to win this! I have not been to the gym since before my son was born, and the sad part is I used to go EVERY DAY!  Okay, when I go to the gym, I start with stretching out on the yoga ball, easy poses, then I do a half hour or cardio (whether it be walking, jogging, stationary bike, etc)  After that I switch up my main workout into two rotating days Arms, chest, back one day, then legs, stomach abs the next. And EVERY day I end my workout with a 30 to 40 minute walking session on the tread mill. Please let me win! lol This will give me the boost I  need to get my butt back into shape!

I love weight lifting - women don't realize it's crucial for overall fitness, and possible to do without bulking up too much!!

I never have money for a membership but I'd love to go being I just had a baby 2 months ago! My favorite is the bikes and elipticals

I love using the rowing machine, the elliptical, and the leg weight...thing.  Regardless of what the last one is called, I love doing it!  The rowing machine is the best because it works out both the arms and legs, so if I'm having a really lazy day, I can just spend time on that for about 20 minutes and call it a day.

I have yet to join a gym as we are watching finances. However I do home workouts like insanity or Jillian michaels 30 day shred and run on a treadmill if I am unable to make it outside alone. I would appreciate a gym membership to do strength training. Please highly view this mother of 2 kids under 5's comment! Thx for taking a moment. ;-)
