He shouldn't have had to do it, but good for Adam Levine. After Aguilera's weight has caused of a frenzy of fat blasting, Levine stepped up to say enough!
The singer, who is often seen bickering with Aguilera on The Voice, totally has her back when it comes to people picking on her for her weight. He told WetPaint this weekend that he believes it's "bullying" and that her critics should "grow up."
Right on.
He said:
People shouldn’t say those kind of things, because, f—k you! Come on guys, grow up! It pisses me off, and of course I have her back, of course I defend her. It’s not nice to just have your bread and butter be trashing other people. That’s bullying.
Good for him. Too often it's left up to women to defend ourselves, so it's nice to see a man step forward and acknowledge just how vile such behavior is. He continued, "Sure, we may be confident, successful people who can take a punch, but it’s just not cool."
It's one thing to wonder if someone has a little baby bump, because we really want to know if they're pregnant. But it's an entirely different thing to just call people names and mock them for their weight.
Yes, Aguilera is in the public eye, and she should expect a certain amount of scrutiny, but she should also be able to expect a certain amount of human decency. She's a singer, and it's her talent that we should judge not her figure.
Besides, I think her figure still looks great. She's not stick thin, but neither are most women. And look how incredibly well she fills out her Halloween costume in the picture above. She's curvy and sexy, and fortunately, she knows it. She told People recently:
I've always been one to make it very clear, love me or hate me, take it or leave it, this is who I am. I embrace my body, and I embrace everything about myself.
Rock on Christina.

Most of us don't look the same as we did at 20. There comes a point when sometimes it's good to tone it down a little...She still looks good, but maybe that time is coming.
I wonder if Christina is one of those people who just cannot lose the weight. I find it hard to believe that any celebrity would choose to be heavy. They are just inviting unending "fat" comments from the media. I'm wondering if all his "fat" attention will motivate her to lose the weight, a la Tyra Banks who got skinny after a lot of crticism for her larger size on one (or a couple?) seasons of ANTM.
well if she was skinny everyone would be calling her a slut over that outfit
