Kendall & Kylie Jenner's Weight Loss Secrets Beat Their Big Sisters' Big Time

kylie and kendall jennerCan you imagine how tough it must be to stay grounded about, well, anything when your mom is Kris Jenner and your older sister is Kim Kardashian?! You'd think Kendall and Kylie Jenner -- who are already waaaay immersed in their family's reality TV world -- would be super susceptible to the weight-related cray cray they're exposed to all the time. After all, their big sisters shill ridiculous diet pills and talk about losing 10 pounds in 10 days or dropping 45 pounds while eating junk food.

But somehow, the teen sisters actually sound like they've got really good heads on their shoulders. At least when it comes to the subject of staying in shape.

When Celebuzz asked what they think the secret to being fit and healthy is, Kendall replied:

Being active and keeping busy. It’s kind of ingrained in me to keep fit and active, whether it’s working out or running around with friends.

And Kylie said:

Being fit to me means staying active. We’re lucky that we get to travel a lot, so are always on the move, and it’s so important to get out as much as possible and just keep active.

Then, when asked what they like to snack on, they admitted they enjoy ... fruit. Like strawberries and grapes. Wait, say whaaaaat? I don't get it. No insane three-hour runs on the treadmill? No macrobiotic, gluten/dairy/sugar-free diets? These K sisters actually believe being fit and healthy has to do with staying active in whatever realistic way it'll fit into their already busy, hectic lifestyle? Yes, it's true!

Kendall even explained:

I don't think fad diets really work. Losing weight is more about changing your lifestyle and eating habits. At the end of the day, it's how you feel about yourself that gives you confidence. Don't let other people bring you down and ignore the haters. If you really want to lose weight for yourself, then talk to your friends and family about it to get their support. A lot of girls put inspiring photos and quotes up on their bedroom or bathroom mirrors as pick-me-ups in the morning. I think that’s a great way to remind yourself that you are beautiful, and keep yourself motivated to work out or eat healthy.

Adore it. Way. To. Go. Jenners! It really is a mystery who they learned these down-to-earth, grounded, positive fitness and body image philosophies from, but sheesh -- seems like Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, and Kris could stand to learn a thing or two from these wise teens!
