Whether you're a marathon runner or a Pilates princess -- with Netflix, working (out) from home is getting a bit easier.

And it will only cost you $8.99.

Now you and your kids can both get a bit of enjoyment out of last year's Christmas present. Use TVs, Blu-ray players and gaming consoles like your PlayStation 3, Wii console or Xbox 360 (and for just $8.99 a month) to stream unlimited "Watch Instantly" movies from Netflix on your TV.

Without further ado, here are 6 great DVDS that'll get you up and active, without catching a cold or pinching your pennies.

For a Tighter Midsection: Trainer's Edge: Killer Abs and Back

Section: Abs Glutes & More

Equipment necessary: Jump rope, set of 2 to 5 lb. dumbbells, body bar

Time allotment: 41 minutes

Why we dig it: Variety variety variety! This Trainer's Edge DVD has a straightforward approach that is sure to get you working up a sweat. From the fast-paced boxing sequences with trainer Michael Olajide to the abdominal twists and jump rope sets, you'll be feeling the burn from your abs down to your calves.

For a Workout in a Hurry: Crunch: Boot Camp Training

Section: Cardio & Aerobics

Equipment necessary: 3 to 10 lb. dumbbells

Time allotment: 30 minutes

Why we dig it: Well-choreographed, challenging DVD with great cues. In just 30 minutes you can go from basic squats and pushups to overhead presses and total-body toning. Instructor Sue Hitzman has excellent technique that is both easy to follow and encouraging to keep up with.

For a Fun Workout With Dance: 10 Minute Solution: Fat Blasting Dance Mix

 Section: Dance Workouts

Equipment necessary: None

Time allotment: 50 minutes

Why we dig it: The DVD, split between 30 minutes of aerobic dance and 20 minutes of toning, is a boogie session worth buying. Separated into five segments, feel the burn with the "Butt & Thigh Blaster" or get sexy with "The Simple Slimmer."

For a Bikini Body: Self: Bikini Ready, Fast!

 Section: General Strength & Flexibility

Equipment necessary: Set of 2 to 5 lb. dumbbells

Time allotment: 30 minutes

Why we dig it: Ellen Barrett's likability. With a bright approach (and a beach backdrop), Barrett brings you along for a dumbbell-based upper-body focused program that culminates with informational segments on healthy eating an exercise.

For Relaxing, Soothing Stretches: Crunch: Candlelight Yoga

 Section: Yoga

Equipment necessary: Yoga mat (swap for a bath towel if you don't have one)

Time allotment: 43 minutes

Why we dig it: Looking for a way to kick back after a long day with the kids? Release tension, relax, burn some calories and stretch with this Crunch DVD. Best for a light workout day, instructor Sara Ivanhoe uses soothing nature sounds (who doesn't enjoy a good babbling brook?) and a serene set to set the mood.

For Pilates Lovers: Progressive Pilates: 4 10-Minute Target-Tone Workouts

 Section: Pilates & Fitness Ball

Equipment necessary: Set of 2 to 5 lb. dumbbells

Time allotment: 50 minutes

Why we dig it: Looking to tone up one area, and save the rest for later? Choose abs, buns, thighs or arms for area-specific toning while strengthening your core. My suggestion? Add this DVD to one of the site's "Cardio & Aerobic" suggestions for a fully toned at-home aerobic sesh.

What's your favorite at-home workout DVD? Do you use Netflix?
