We all know that new lovebirds Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been spending a fair share of time in New York City. Sure, there's a whole lot of date nights to fancy schmancy dinners and Broadway shows for Kimye, but there's also time for something else. Rumor has it that Kim and Kanye have been getting their workout on here, too and I am j-e-a-l-o-u-s. Heck, I would kill to get in the gym with two of Hollywoods hunkiest players.
I think it's adorbs that Kim and Kanye sweat it out together. It shows that they can be a functional couple. I mean come ON -- is there anything more motivating? Let's dish, shall we?
Kim and Kanye clearly have the right attitude about staying in shape. The both of them are all about getting fit together. In honor of last week's Kimye fit spotting, here are some reasons why working out with a significant other is super beneficial:
1. It's really motivating: Working out in front of someone you care about can be pretty demanding. You wanna show them that you got some serious kahunas. When I'm around a man that I'm interested in, I find my overall form is better. As someone who loves running, if I'm hitting the trails with someone I'm interested in, I'm going faster. You wanna show your partner that you can keep up, and that you love a challenge.
2. Looks are everything: Working out with someone attractive means playing the part, too. I'm not saying you're gonna get your hair and makeup done for the occasion. Heck no. But hey, a fun workout buddy may be means for a few new workout clothes. At LEAST a cute tank. You deserve it, woman!
3. It's an excuse to try new things together: Who knows, maybe Kim generally speaking is more into taking workout classes than hitting the treadmill. However, since she wants to spend time with Kanye and burn some calories -- she's doing whatever she can to make it all work. Try new things! Get active together (outside the bedroom, that is). If you ask me, there's nothing more attractive.
Do you work out with your significant other? Do you find yourself under more pressure when you do?
