Being size blind is when a person starts gaining weight but won't admit it. Maybe he or she really doesn't notice it. Or maybe the person is pretending the fat doesn't exist. Either way, more people are fat, but they don't think they're fat.

According to the British Medical Journal, more than 300 million adults worldwide are overweight. But fewer and fewer of us identify ourselves as fat or overweight. We even misidentify our children when they become heavy.
