Breast cancer runs in my family - both of my grandmothers have had it and 2 of my aunts. All have survived it thankfully!

My daddy battled prostate cancer two years ago. 😢

Unfortunately cancer is all through our family. My mother and maternal grandmother had breast cancer and my paternal grandfather had lung cancer

My grandmother died of breast cancer and my mom had a very rare type of cancer in her leg, and had to get part of her leg removed due to it. My mother was told she would never walk again, and with in months she proved them wrong. She has fought all her life, to be normal and she is one of the strongest ladies I know. Watching her battle this helped me to not give up in school when teachers told my parents and I that I would not be smart enough to go to college and to give up my dreams of going. I went to college, even made Deans list, graduated with honors. If it wasn't for seeing my Mom go threw this battle with cancer I would probably given up.

Cancer has touched my life, my grandfather passed away when I was 6 months old from pancreatic cancer, so sad I never go to know a wonderful man, makes me cry. May mom is so sad he is not here she was only 25 when he passed. My aunt just had her breast removed on 3/9 due to breast cancer. So sad :(

My grandmother survived over 20 yrs battling cancer. it started in her lymph nodes, spread to her breasts, thyroid, and finally her brain. She fought on and off through so many treatments and surgeries. She lost her battle on july 25th 1997. I miss her so much.
