jennifer aniston ford caresJennifer Aniston will never be known only as "that TV actress who played Rachel on Friends," thanks to the various roles she's taken on, especially in recent years. She's done big screen dramas, produced, been a spokesperson, directed, and has even come out with her own perfume (which I personally adore -- smells like the beach!). But her most recent role is kinda surprising ... apparently, Jen has made the foray into fashion design! But don't worry, she's not pulling a J.Lo on us (yet).

Aniston's actually paired her fashion sense with her ongoing commitment to breast cancer advocacy and designed a really cute tee that says "Reach for the Moon" for the Ford Warriors in Pink campaign. And get this -- 100 PERCENT of the proceeds from the sale of the shirt go toward finding a cure for the disease!

That's really amazing, considering a lot of "pink" products -- which we're going to start seeing more of, now that it's almost October, aka Breast Cancer Awareness Month! -- often give a much smaller percentage of their proceeds.

It's pretty fitting (no pun intended) that Jen should do this right now. She's gotten super-involved in fighting breast cancer as of late, having directed a short film as a part of Five, a Lifetime series that explores the impact of breast cancer on people's lives. I love that she's clearly so deeply committed to the cause and seems to be devoting her celebrity and a good deal of time and energy to breast cancer awareness.

Check out the PSA Jen did to promote her new tee and the Ford WIP campaign.

Like she said, you can get more info about fighting against breast cancer at FordCares.com. I'm not usually one to try to follow in celebs' footsteps, but supporting Jen and the Warriors in Pink campaign is obviously one small step we could all take that could actually make a difference!

What do you think about Jen's new PSA? Would you buy the tee?
