It's definitely harder to buy expensive, healthier foods in this economy, as I reported recently. And here's more proof that people are eating more cheap, fast food: McDonald's sales are up more than 8 percent this year, much to the success of their Dollar Menu, according to the Chicago Tribune.
I know I've stopped there a few times recently instead of going to the more expensive salad bar in town. (I do order salads, though, which are not the cheapest items.) I just wonder if other CafeMoms are Lovin' It, too.

ok... maybe just a lil bit, I have cut it down a tad, just a weeee tad!
I don't really care for it now. I used to eat it all the time, you know, back in my 20's when you could eat anything and it never showed ;) I will have something occasionally but really, it taste is terrible when you stay away from it long enough.
My toddler is a very picky eater but loves French Toast Sticks from BK. Finally I decided to make them at home but couldn't find a receipt, so I made one up. My 18 yr old loves them just as much as my 3 yr old ;)
