Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi has been noticeably bigger ever since she gave birth to daughter Krishna in February: She's still breathtakingly gorgeous and enviably thin, but compared to earlier episodes, now there's just slightly more of her.
And guess what? She couldn't care less, telling Redbook that losing baby weight takes time and women should be patient and give themselves compassion.
You're not going to lose 20 to 30 pounds in a month, nor should you. You can still feel feminine and beautiful and strong whether you're a size 12 or a size 2.
I love her attitude, especially when she follows it up with this comment about her experience as a new mom: "You look at your body totally differently. It created this life and brought it into the world."
