"I won't lie; it's occasional," she told the magazine. "And when I say occasional, I mean maybe a couple of times a year."
It's not that I'm surprised she does it, but I'm floored that she's admitting it in print? Way to tip off the cops.
And why? It's certainly not going to help her ... or her hordes of young fans.
To them she offers a warning ... at least about what she used to do.
"I do not want my fans to ever emulate that or be that way," she said. "I don't want my fans to think they have to be that way to be great. It's in the past. It was a low point, and it led to disaster."
Of that low point she said:
"I hit rock bottom, and it was enough to send a person over the edge. My mother knew the truth about that day, and she screamed so loud on the other end of the phone, I'll never forget it. And she said, 'I'm coming to get you.'"
She says she didn't need rehab; instead her grandmother helped her get back on the right track.
Great, if by the right track you mean still getting kicked out of Yankees games for being wasted and continuing to use cocaine!
It's incredibly sad to see such a talented young lady damage her body and her future like this and to essentially boast about it to the world. I truly hope she gets the real help she needs; and grandma can come visit.
What do you think of Lady Gaga's cocaine confession?
