How Bridget Moynahan Maintains Her High School Weight

Bridget MoynahanThat's right, beautiful Bridget Moynahan sees the exact same numbers when she steps on the scale today as she did in high school.

But before you roll your eyes, sigh, or curse her, you should know that at least the 39-year-old mother doesn't just sit around eating fried Twinkies.

But beyond showing that kind of restraint, how does she do it?


"I eat anything within reason," Moynahan, who currently stars in Ramona and Beezus, told Self. "I lead a very healthy life. I'm not going to sit here and eat fried Twinkies. I eat meals."

She has never done a cleanse, and relies on good old-fashioned exercise (four one-hour sessions a week) and healthy eating. 

"I think a lot of people would love to hear that I have a magic pill or there's some great new cleanse, but I just don't prescribe to that."

If only ...

While she says she does indulge in potato chips and martinis on occasion, for the most  part, she keeps it healthy in order to set a good example for her son.

"I eat most of my meals with my son, and he eats whatever I'm eating. I'm not grazing in front of the fridge or snacking between meals because I don't want him doing that. It's always a sit-down dinner with protein and vegetables."
Now you can commence with the eye rolling and such.

But seriously, it sounds like she has a really good approach to healthy living and deserves her fabulous physique.
