Weight-Loss Calendar Week 4: Avoiding the Rut

I'm now at 157 pounds, for a total weight loss of 21 pounds so far. (The picture to the left is from Easter, this past weekend.) I'm almost halfway to my goal, and that's fantastic! But, I'm also starting to feel antsy and restless.

This weight-loss goal is definitely not a sprint, as anyone who has lost a big chunk of weight can attest. It's a very long marathon, but that can sure be tiring, you know?

I'm about three months in, and I feel myself getting a little complacent in my work-outs. I enjoy running a lot and plan to continue training for some upcoming races (another 5K and a 10K, too), but I don't think Jillian Michaels' "The Shred" is cutting it any longer.

I'm hoping to eventually take a boot-camp class through my local rec center, and I'd love to take a dance class one day, too. But, for now, I'm looking for great work-out DVDs you might suggest. (There are some great DVDs listed here, but any others?)

Also, how do you get over the hump of the weight-loss mid-way point?
