Good dads are rad for lots of reasons, but there are some who just make us want to be bad. There are plenty of attractive stars in Hollywood, but it's these diaper-bag-toting dads that often really leave us drooling the hardest.

While they may have been hot before, fatherhood adds a whole new bit of heat. There's something about a dude who knows how to handle a sippy cup or a skinned knee that's just super sexy. We've all heard of MILFs, so these guys are the DILFs, if you will -- the ones with whom playdates would just be a little too distracting. So in honor of Father's Day this coming Sunday, let's take a look at five of Hollywood's hottest dads

Which other hot celebrity dads would you add to this list?

Whenever tabloids do pictorials of celebs acting "just like us," the best photos always include Hollywood elite being sweet with their offspring. How heart-meltingly adorable is it to see that big, hunky action star with his little girl wrapped around his neck or Ferris Bueller Matthew Broderick here helping son James Wilkie ride to school on a razor scooter? Awww.

So, in honor of Father's Day, here are seven more of doting Hollywood dads looking even more charming than usual when snapped sharing a sweet moment with their kiddos.

Time to fire up the grill, because Father's Day is just around the corner. Unlike all those other Sundays where we dads are super busy crossing tons of items off the To-Do lists our beautiful wives give us (regrout the bathroom tile, paint the garage, vacuum out the inside of the cars), Father's Day is a day of rest. It's the one day a year we get to just relax, drink some beers, and watch sports on TV.

Father's Day is also all about the gifts. We know where guys are concerned, size normally matters. But trust me when I say it really is the thought that counts. And you know us guys, always thinking. Just be aware that sometimes the gifts you give us dads can send the wrong message. We're kinda insecure like that.

Take these 10 popular Father's Day gifts, below. Here's what they really mean in our warped minds.

  • Father's Day Makes Me Love My Husband More

I've "celebrated" my father on Father's Day over the years -- sometimes it was just a "Hey dad! How ya doing?" Other times it was chatting about the same old same old in person while munching on cheeseburgers. And like many once-angsty young buckeroos, I will admit that I sometimes wasn't the bestest daughter and I also never truly understood the magnitude of the day. This goes for Mother's Day, too, of course. It's not just a "holiday" to contribute to the zillion dollar card making industry. Sure I buy the cards because I'm a sucker for tradition, but it's more than that. Lightbulb is on.

Maybe I just know the importance of the day now that I am a mom (cue the sappy music), now that my husband is a father. We're just 18 months into parenthood and filled with wide-eyed excitement over any and every little thing our twins do, but seeing my husband as a father really does make me love him more.

Lots of people joke that we are destined to marry someone like our dad — and when I was younger I thought "no way is that going to happen!" Not because there was anything wrong with my dad ... in fact, he was a very okay dad from a teenage girls point of view. Yeah, it was annoying that he sang every. single. morning. Mainly because it was my inheriting this very singing ability that got me rejected from Glee Club in 2nd grade! And it was slightly embarrassing when, at 13, I found a great red, black, and white winter coat that my dad liked so much he went and bought for himself. Yes, the. exact. same. coat. Torture for a teenager!

But ... marry someone like my dad? Phewy. Never!  I DID NOT want to marry someone like my dad. He made me listen to 50's music and watch cowboy movies. My future husband was going to be way cooler than my dad!  And then it happened ...

Father's Day is just two days away and I've done it again. I waited too long to buy a card, and now all that's left is the cheesy rejects. Or the really mushy ones with lines about "values, wisdom, and strength," "I'm proud to be your daughter," or "I can only hope to be as good a parent as you are" blah-blah-vomit.

My dad doesn't want that sentimental crap. He wants to open his funny card crammed with lottery tickets.

Since I missed that chance, I'm going to do what my kids do: make my own Father's Day card for my dad -- grownup style. It's easier than you think, you'll save face, and your dad might actually be a little impressed -- though if he's anything like my father, he probably won't admit that.

Let these four ideas inspire you like they did me:

As Father's Day nears, you may be left scrambling for the perfect gift. Dads can be tough dudes to shop for no doubt, but all of them like to hear just what they mean to their children on this special day. So a homemade card is the perfect touch.

But what to say? How do you put into words just how special and unique your own father is or help your children do the same for their dad? Why with a poem, of course. Here are four Father's Day poems to fill your kid's Father's Day card ... and yours.

Breakfast in bed is typically a Mother's Day tradition that never goes out of style. But moms shouldn't be the only ones who get treated like royalty for a day.

Do something similarly special for Dad this Father's Day, but make it more manly. Instead of breakfast, serve him dinner in bed: This will give you more opportunities to get meat on the menu, and he'll have something to nosh on while watching the game.

Here's how to serve Dad a dinner in bed he'll never forget ...

My needs for Mother's Day are very simple: A day to myself, without the children I so adore. Maybe I'd see them for breakfast and then around dinnertime for a bit, before retreating to bed. Privacy. Alone time. No chores. Yes, a day of my children in small doses sounds like the perfect break for this exhausted mom. Oddly, all the very things I would love for myself are the very same things my husband gets, every day. Lucky stiff.

Father's Day is almost two weeks away. Do you know what you're getting Dad? (Or do you know what the kids are getting dad?)

In my house, we typically invite family over, celebrate the day with burgers and dogs on the grill, and top off the night with gifts -- ties, golf clubs, maybe a "World's Best Dad" mug, blah blah blah. This year, I'm thinking of doing something different, something where my dad and I can spend some quality time together, something that will catch him off-guard! Something like ... a movie marathon! (Maybe the day before, though, since, really, who doesn't love a barbecue?)

Grab your dad, a cozy spot on the couch, and these 5 great father-daughter movies. Popcorn not included.
