Random moments of kindness from strangers always make for amazing stories. Whether it's someone comforting a mother through her child's supermarket breakdown or something else, hearing these stories always gives us plenty of hope and inspiration. This is especially true when it comes to people like this woman who started a viral campaign to help a stranger get the kidney he desperately needs.

While celebrating a birthday with her family at Disney World, Rocio Sandoval came across a man in a custom shirt. The shirt, which simply read "In Need Of Kidney. O Positive. Call 917-597-2651," was worn by 60-year-old New Jersey native Robert Leibowitz. Leibowitz, a father of five, was recently told by a doctor that, due to failing kidneys, he would need to go on dialysis multiple times a day and receive a kidney transplant.

With his name on five different donor lists but little to no leads, his 14-year-old daughter encouraged him to try a more unique approach to finding a kidney. She came up with the idea for the T-shirt and they decided that he would wear it during their trip to Disney World.

"I figured that is the best place to do it in a week," Leibowitz told local news source WFTV. "It is very hard to get a kidney and there are not a lot of donors out there, or with O positive. I am universal, but I have to get an O back."

While the T-shirt garnered plenty of attention, it wasn't until Rocio Sandoval snapped a photo and shared it on her Facebook that his story gained tons of traction.

Since creating it on August 25, Sandoval's Facebook post has collected over 80K shares, with 33K of those occurring during its first 24 hours.

"The response has been absolutely amazing. I get very emotional about it," Leibowitz told WFTV. "Over a million people have seen it already and the calls keep coming in, in terms of text and phone calls from all over the country, which is amazing."

While there's no word yet on whether or not a donor has been found, seeing people step up to help has been incredibly inspiring.

In reference to her amazing act of kindness, Sandoval said, "I just wanted to do something nice for somebody. Not only do I hope he gets his kidney, but this has raised awareness to the public about donating organs. There are so many people who are in need."
