Little Boy Shuts Down Grown-Up Catcaller & We Love Him for It

Gentlemen still exist! And this one is only a little boy. Julia Price found herself in a confrontation with a catcaller recently in Santa Monica when young James bravely stood up for her, and told the troublemaker that he should be nice to girls.

Price took to Facebook to share what happened, including how her hero came in the form a small boy out for a walk with his mom and baby sister.

She said the man appeared to be a professional on his lunch break, and his calls of "Sexy lady, hey hey sexy lady!" were loud enough to drown out her ear buds while she was out for a run.

"He kept screaming it, and I decided to just ignore him and keep running," Price recalled. "This ignoring seemed to piss him off so he lashed out and said, 'Eff you, dumb b---h!'" How sweet.

She said that that was her trigger point, and she could no longer ignore him.

I ripped off my headphones, prepared to stand up for myself when this little boy who was walking alongside his mother and little sister in a stroller looked at the guy and said, "Hey. That is not nice to say to her and she didn't like you yelling at her. You shouldn't do that because she is a nice girl and I don't let anyone say mean things to people. She's a girl like my sister and I will protect her."

Is that not the best thing ever? Most boys love to play superheroes, but this one became one in real life! Price said that the catcaller scrambled with his lunch and a look of embarrassment, and she asked the boys mom if she could thank him.

"I told him how grateful I was for him," she shared. "He just shrugged and said, 'Well, I just wanted to make sure your heart was okay.'"

Totally dead. What a sweet little gentleman.
