6 Celebs Who Are Showing Their #Strengthies With Malala Yousafzai

Finally, a selfie trend we can all get behind! Malala Yousafzai, along with the advocacy group ONE, has started a social media campaign that pays homage to Rosie the Riveter and shows off girls' impressive #strengthies. And it's teaching everyone a thing or two about powerful women and the sexism of poverty.


The ONE group is aiming to show the world that girls and women in developing communities need assistance in order to break the cycle of poverty. They brought singers and musicians from around the world to create the "Strong Girl" music video:

But the empowerment doens't stop there.

The entire campaign took a new step with Malala's pose and tweet. Take a look at her message to all girls around the world by giving a voice to #WithStrongGirls:

Since then, other politicians, activists, and celebrities have taken part in the movement!
