Thanks to the Internet, even pretty cheerleaders can get bullied. A super inappropriate Facebook post, uploaded by an unofficial Chicago Bears fan page, featured former Green Bay Packers cheerleader, Kaitlyn Collins, alongside the message: "Like if You Agree the Packers Have the Worst Cheerleaders in the NFL!"

Naturally, as this is Facebook we're talking about, things didn't just end with the photo. Of course there were almost 700 incredibly rude and nasty comments about an innocent girl doing her job that followed. Would you expect anything different from today's society?

Comments like, "Doesn’t get any uglier. Truly an eyesore"; "LMAO Fugly"; and "I'd still fuck her, but only from behind with a paper bag over her head" were among some of the lovely things said about Collins. The photo has since been taken down, but not before hurting and offending this poor girl who has nothing to do with the Chicago Bears whatsoever. Collins, understandably, felt like shit about what happened (wouldn't you?), so she posted an anti-bullying video on her Facebook page in retaliation. Here it is:

Thankfully, there is a glimmer of humanity in the world, as many Bears fans came to Kaitlyn's defense, calling out the immature, ignorant yahoos who did this. But still. I can't help but wonder: What the fuck is wrong with people?

I certainly don't claim to be an exemplary member of society, but I can't, for the life of me, fathom posting a photo of an innocent girl online and calling her "the worst", or writing an even nastier comment on such a photo. Who does stuff like this? Where do these people live?

I'm glad people Kaitlyn never met came to her defense, and I'm glad she turned this awful experience into something positive (anti-bullying). But man, I'm kind of embarrassed for the human race right now. Aliens, if you're reading this, which I know you are, I just want to say: Don't come to earth any time soon. It's a g.d. shit show down here. And it doesn't look like it's getting any better.

What do you think of this?
