Hilarious Blog Reveals the Super Embarrassing Things We Like on Facebook

A smart, new Tumblr that's popped up, Actual Facebook Graph Searches, shows, with a little tongue-in-cheek, some of the "likes" of people on Facebook. The blog is a collection of screen shots that show the weird "liking" habits of certain groups of people. See, with Graph Search, you can make your searches really specific. I.E., you can search out married men who like prostitutes, or Mothers of Catholics from Italy who fancy the condom brand Durex.

Might be time for a profile revamp, peeps. Like the creator of the Tumblr, Tom Scott, says: "If it’d be awkward if it was put on a screen in Times Square, don’t put it on Facebook."

Other interesting searches on Scott's blog are overlaps of single girls who live nearby and who are interested in men and who like Getting Drunk!, or current companies who employ people who like Racism. Yep.

I think a lot of people wind up willy-nilly liking things on Facebook without really giving it much thought. (However, please don't ever like Racism. That's just dumb.) When I was still a user, I remember going through the things I "liked" one day, and I barely remembered what half of them were or why I liked them. There were random companies/causes old colleagues asked me to like, a certain kind of cookie. It was all very weird, and not a super accurate account of me. But now, with this whole Graph Search thing rolling out, people best cull their Facebook likes and tidy up their profiles in general. You may have thought your liking of prostitutes was going under the radar. But that's just not the Facebook world we live in anymore.

Do you really like everything you "like" on Facebook?
