Old-Timer 'Uncle Drew' & His Surprising Basketball Skills Will Have You Cheering (VIDEO)

Uncle DrewTo quote one of my favorite movies, The Incredibles, sometimes there's "no school like the old school." An old guy named Uncle Drew proves that fellow old guy from The Incredibles right. In a video that has been seen by over four million people (and counting!), a crew for Pepsi MAX went to shoot a documentary for a basketball player named Kevin. When Uncle Drew went in to play, the game transformed into something else entirely.

After you watch it below, I'm sure you can't help but think that this could rank alongside basketball classics like the Larry Bird vs. Michael Jordan short for McDonald's or this incredible bball commercial from Nike. So, without further adieu, here it is!

Were you able to predict that twist?

Yep, "Uncle Drew" was in fact Kyrie Irving, a player for the Cleveland Cavaliers who won the 2012 NBA Rookie of the Year Award and is an all-around phenom.

There's a lot of debate going around whether these players are all actors and the whole thing was staged. As for the fact there's a camera crew -- Pepsi MAX said that they were going to film a "documentary," so that explains that. But I can't help but think that some of the reactions from the players and people in the crowds were pretty genuine. Though I can't explain the girls who are holding the Pepsi drinks. Perhaps it was a way for Pepsi to thank those who participated in the "documentary"?

And really, who cares? The video is awesome. Irving's incredible moves and funny comments make the thing worth watching. "Don't reach, young blood!" Let's hope that "Uncle Drew" comes out with some more videos soon!

Do you think the players/crowd were actors? Does it matter to you?
