Kris Humphries Pursuing a Comedy Career? Now That's Funny

kris humphriesOh, for crying out loud! When is Kris Humphries gonna wake up and smell the coffee and realize that his 15 minutes of reality TV fame are up? And not only that -- they expired a long, long time ago. Like right after Kim Kardashian dumped him and kicked him to the curb like yesterday's garbage. Don't get me wrong, there are moments (ok, more like seconds) where I feel a little bit sorry for the poor dude, but most of the time I just roll my eyes because he can't seem to suck it up and move on.

But Kris doesn't seem interested in giving up his fame card quite yet, because once you get bit by the showbiz bug, it's pretty hard to recover. And since his basketball career isn't exactly red hot right now, Kris may be pursuing another avenue -- comedy. (No, I'm not kidding.)

Kris is set to star in another "Funny or Die" video after the success he had with his first one, "Kris Humphries Is a Douchebag." (That really does have a nice ring to it.)

The new video will supposedly "poke fun at another inaccurate assumption about his character." Hmm. I wonder what that could be? Perhaps the idea of him being a fame hungry estranged husband who can't resist trying to sock it to his ex every chance he gets? Nah -- that probably wouldn't work.

It's all well and good that Kris is trying to have a little bit of fun and not taking himself too seriously, but if he ever does want a successful career in basketball, he needs to get out of showbiz and get back on the court for good. Hasn't he paid any attention to what has happened to Lamar Odom's sports career since he got tangled up with the Kardashians? Kris got a get out of jail free card -- and it's about time he wised up and used it.

Did you watch Kris's "Funny or Die" video? Are you looking forward to the second one?
