Alec Baldwin's Rage-Filled Twitter Explosions Are a Good Thing

alec baldwinHell hath no fury like Alec Baldwin's Twitter account. The 30 Rock actor is at it again -- unleashing his wrath in 140 characters or less via Twitter. This time it's about how reporters from the New York Daily News went to his new fiance's yoga class to try to nab a couple of shots of the lucky(?) lady.

Baldwin tweeted on Monday: "Shame on the no-talent trash from the Daily News for invading the privacy of 75 people in a yoga class to take a picture of someone ... Rest in Peace, the New York Daily News, which was once a good newspaper. Now run by the same trash that runs the New York Post.”

Classic Alec. You know what, though? I actually think Twitter is good for the actor. Imagine where all this pent-up rage would go without it?

I think we all remember what happened, pre-Twitter, when Alec got mad at his young daughter. He left her an incredibly mean, rude, and nasty voicemail, calling her a bevy of names, including one that is permanently burned into my brain: A rude, little pig.

Baldwin's tweets may show that dude's got a lot of issues, and that he could probably benefit from a yoga class or two, but hey, he's not really harming anyone. He's just letting it all out. Tech-style. It's his therapy, if you will. Some actors get into drunken brawls outside of LA hot spots. Others go on month-long coke benders in secluded villas in Mexico. Alec tweets. BFD. Could be worse, right?
