4 Reasons Tom Brady Can 'Suck' All He Wants

Tom BradyWell, the New England Patriots are going to the Super Bowl. But if you're mad at Tom Brady for not exactly helping them get there, it's time to simmer down. The quarterback is ready to accept responsibility for his actions -- or lack thereof -- so you can go back to cheering for him to kick some New York Giants tail in Indianapolis next month.

Come on, who can hold a grudge against a guy who comes right out and admits, "I sucked pretty bad today"? If there is one guy in the NFL who deserves a little break on being absolutely sucktastic even when the championship is on the line, it's Brady. Just look at the evidence, people:

1. He's a team player. He didn't just say he sucked. He admitted that the defense totally saved his cute little rear end against the Ravens. I don't know about you, but if I'm heading into the biggest game of my life, that's the kind of guy I want in my corner -- one who knows that he can't live without me.

2. That cute tushie ... and face and ... I'll admit it, I was a big fan of the big haircut that caused such a ruckus in Beantown this past fall. All the better to see that cute little cleft in his chin, in my opinion, which, in turn, makes it all that much easier to forgive Brady's faults.

3. He's good for the economy. Brady and wife Gisele Bundchen aren't just the richest celebrity couple in the world (literally, they're at the number one slot when you combine their wealth). They are currently putting the finishing touches on a $20 million mansion in Brentwood, California. You can call it ostentatious. I call it spending money in a recession so that contractors and decorators can spend it on their own families.

4. He's got the track record. So he had a bad game. ONE bad game. But in Brady's 10 seasons as a starter, the Pats have gone to the Super Bowl in half of them and won three. Compare that to Giants' QB Eli Manning's one championship ring (against the Pats, I know), and it's no contest.

Do you think Brady is deserving of one sucky game considering all he brings to the table?
