Kris Humphries Will Never Be a Basketball Star Unless He Stops Being a Reality Star

kris humphriesAt this point, I don't even know if Kris Humphries has any interest in becoming a basketball star. I know he's a solid player and his game has gotten better, supposedly, since his shockingly unexpected split from Kim Kardashian. (I mean, who saw that one coming?) But he's still not acting like a serious athlete just yet. He's too busy badmouthing his ex and her family (biting the hand that fed him, in my opinion), making Scott Disick look like a model son-in-law in comparison.

That's why he's getting booed left and right and tormented at games by haters waving cardboard cutouts of Kim. (How funny is that, btw?)

And the heckling isn't going to stop anytime soon. In fact, it never will, unless Humphries does one very important thing ...

Kris Humphries has to give up the limelight, and I mean really give it up, if he ever wants to be taken seriously. If he wants to rise to the top of the NBA crop. If he wants to be a contender. (I coulda been a contendah! I coulda been somebody!)

See, that's totally gonna be Kris Humphries! Washed up like Marlon Brando in On the Waterfront. And at least Brando was still attractive at that point. Once he gets dropped from the NBA, Humphries, too, will eventually blow up like a walrus ...

Until he's like Brando in Apocalypse Now! The horror!

Maybe not, I don't know. Actually, I don't think we'll even have a clue what becomes of Kris Humphries if he wastes the opportunity to have a legit career.

Do you think it's too late for Kris Humphries to be a legit NBA star?
