Funny Video Shows Why We Prefer Facebook Profiles to Actual People (VIDEO)

i like you better on facebookIs it just me or does it seem like it's been a while since we've had a funny YouTube video mocking people on Facebook. It has, hasn't it? Well, looks like we're in luck. A new one just popped up a few days ago. It's called "I Like You Better on Facebook," and it's a song that waxes poetic over people's Facebook personalities versus their real personalities -- and how never the twain shall meet. Because people on Facebook lie, lie, lie!

And there are lots of girls doing funny dance moves in quirky costumes to boot. Check it out.

Thoughts? Is it life-changing? No. Amusing? Certainly. And the thing is, it's true. Usually people don't have the same personality on and off Facebook -- even if they're just telling little white lies. I.E., making themselves seem a wee bit more successful than they are, a wee bit happier, or hell, a wee bit more attractive if they've got PhotoShop.

I'd imagine that meeting someone on Facebook isn't the best way to start a relationship. I know that lots of couples meet online, but there's something about Facebook that's just different. I feel like it brings out everyone's inner liar just a twinge more. In fact, just the other night, I was out to dinner where I was sitting next to a group of taciturn girls. As soon as one of them broke out the cameraphone, everyone started yucking it up, making it seem like they were having the time of their lives. And then said photos were uploaded to Facebook. Lies!

So, that's why this video brings a smile to my face. 'Cause it speaks the truth. Also, I like it when she calls the guy a "fart."

Do you think people's Facebook personalities are different from their real ones?
