Help NFL Cheerleaders Fight Breast Cancer With One Click (VIDEO)

cheerleadersSo it's April, and the NFL lockout is now threatening to push back next year's Super Bowl. And for fans who like to watch the cheerleaders as much as they do their favorite gridiron gangs, it all means pom pom shaking is likely off-limits for awhile too. But wait! What if there was a way to get your cheerleading fix AND help save women from breast cancer too? All with one click of the mouse?

Ah, praise the Internet gods, it's here! Introducing Team Ra-Ras, aka 136 members of the NFL Alumni Philadelphia Chapter Cheerleaders, a group that encompasses women who have cheered on the sidelines at Eagles games for the past five decades. They started dancing together on September 11, celebrating the bond they share. And now they're putting that bond -- and talent -- to good use for the breast cancer cause.

The women have put on a free cheerleading show and posted it to YouTube so you can get your fix of football-themed entertainment any time you want. Jay Sean agreed to offer the rights to his song "Do You Remember" to accompany the routine, and the ladies shook pink pom poms. It's a high-energy routine guaranteed to pull anyone out of the NFL lockout doldrums.

But that's not the best part. Every time someone watches it, they're pushing Team Ra-Ras closer to helping make more money for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation to fight breast cancer. United Healthcare of Pennsylvania already donated $100,000 to the Philadelphia Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure when the video hit a million views, but when it reaches 5 million views, UHC will donate $50,000. Then again, at 8 million views, UHC will donate yet another $50,000. Right now, the women are sitting at just over 3.4 million views.

So what are you waiting for? Let's get some cheerleading enjoyment on and help beat breast cancer! Click play:

Now that that's done, go ahead and share this -- the more people who watch, the closer they are to helping fund the cure! Are you a cheerleading fan?
