Facebook photo trends have been coming and going at breakneck speeds over the last couple years (remembering planking? Owling? Batting? Legbombing? I guarantee my husband will never forget leisure diving), but the latest ridiculous-stunt-in-public fads are all about competing for YouTube views. While it might be embarrassing to wear a banana costume in public to record a "Harlem Shake" variation (or lose your job for it), the weirdest video trend I think I've ever heard of is called milking.

Yes: milking. Happily, this doesn't involve anything unsavory happening to innocent cows or breastfeeding moms, but it does involve recording yourself dumping massive amounts of milk over your own head in public.

YOU GUYS, I'M NOT EVEN MAKING THIS UP.

Oh Pinterest! I'm addicted to you and all your pretty pictures. Your recipes, your crafts, your hot Ryan Gosling photos.

But lately, you've been really annoying me and I'm falling out of love at a rapid pace.

And yes, I realize that it's not really your fault but rather all the Pinterest users who feel the need to pin ridiculous crap.

So if you're on Pinterest like me, listen up, and stop ticking off your followers.

There's nothing I love more than cute men in uniform. Actually, let me rephrase that: there's nothing I love more than cute men in uniform dancing. We've seen them do Lady Gaga's "Telephone." We LOVED it when a few Army guys in Afghanistan did "Call Me Maybe." But I'm not sure if you're ready for the next big fad in military dancing videos: the "Harlem Shake."

You've heard of this new trend, right? There's this song out called the "Harlem Shake" and people EVERYWHERE are posting fairly wacky videos dancing to it in large groups. Sure, watching some news anchors do it and doing it on The Daily Stir, that's cool. But watching men in uniform wear ridiculous costumes and dance super crazy? Now THAT is right up my alley.

Check out our 5 favorite military "Harlem Shake" videos, here:

During a spa trip for my 40th, it became apparent that when seven moms get together for some R&R, they become alarmists. Yep, we spent much of our "relaxation" time discussing what to avoid and how it could kill you.

I know, you totally want to party with us.

We couldn't even escape our cynical chit chat by catching a flick on pay-per-view. Who was going to risk their lives and touch the germ-laden hotel remote? Someone also mentioned that one should avoid handling menus. Needless to say, this made ordering dinner quite difficult. Thankfully, it didn't hamper the flow of sarcasm and margaritas (my favorite combo).

After my vacay I posted, "A Sarcastic Look at 19 Common Things That'll Kill Ya" and was relieved to learn that I'm not the only lame-o who sits around discussing this crap. So, here's a list of more everyday things I've actually been told to avoid, just don't quote me on the effects.

Reading this list can cause ironic revelations, incontinence, and typhoid:

You've seen it. I know you have. Everyone and their mother's sister's friend's aunt are dressing up in funny costumes and dancing like fools to this song "Harlem Shake." It's all over YouTube, all over Facebook, and you better believe it's in. Your. Face. I'm sorry, am I the only person who remembers the real Harlem Shake? The actual dance move?

We're dishing about this new big craze on today's Daily Stir:

Remember the parents who named their baby "Hashtag"? Or the little girl who was named after the Facebook Like button? Apple, Google, Excel, and Siri are also on the rise, and while these certainly wouldn't be MY personal choices for a baby name, it's not much of a surprise. Given our devotion to technology, it's probably only a matter of time until classroom roll calls start sounding like inventory lists from Best Buy.

While most of us aren't actually naming our kids after websites and devices, the trend of choosing baby names has definitely gone digital. From crowdsourcing to specialized apps, more and more parents are going online to find that perfect moniker. I think little Hashtag would agree: baby name books are so two thousand and late.

Be careful, all of you love birds that are thinking about doing something a little extra special down there for your soul mate this Valentine’s Day -- statistics show that pubic hair grooming injuries are on the rise. An estimated 2,500 people a year show up at ERs with injuries serious enough to require professional medical attention.

Researchers say that’s probably a vast underreporting of the countless mishaps that people keep to themselves. Let’s face it -- that’s got to be a lot of people, since taking extra care with the hair down there has become a cultural norm in recent years. Surveys show that almost 90 percent of young women in the U.S. partially or fully remove the stuff, and up to 78 percent of men do it too -- regardless of sexual orientation.

Phew! That’s a lot of busy beavers! Hehe -- beavers. Ok, I’ll stop now.

After writing a recent post on things I'd never know if I weren't a Gen Xer, I came to realize that I'm some kind of Generation X genius. I mean, I could be the "Rain Man" of the Gen X set. Seriously, throw some quotes on the floor, I'll tell you who said them. OK, that test may not work as well as it does with toothpicks in the movie.

But I now see that I'm somewhat stuck in the '80s, and I kinda like it there. So I thought I'd share some of the most random stuff I remember as a Gen X poster child.

I'm going to say a phrase, and you tell me your immediate response: Sweatpants with heels. Okay, did you throw up, or were you just confused? I think when I first heard that phrase, I was about 30 percent confused and 70 percent totally grossed out. These are two great things that should have nothing to do with each other. Sweats are all about sloppy comfort. Heels are about pain and glamor. I love them both -- but not together.

That is, until I saw a few well-styled examples. Then I had to reconsider. Maybe it's just the really cold weather, but I'm starting to believe what sounds like a major fashion don't actually can work. There's something so-wrong-it's-right about the look. So let's go there. Here's how to rock a sexy pair of heels with cozy sweats.

If you hadn't noticed by now, Jennifer Lopez makes it perfectly clear that she's not living her uber-rich and famous life for anyone else. She's an exceptionally sexy woman who looks downright uuuuhmazing at 43 years old and plans on showing it off. We know this. And that's why it wasn't exactly super-shocking when she showed up to the Golden Globes red carpet last night looking naked save for a few patches of strategically placed white lace.

Personally, I thought the gown was stunning. Yes, she was definitely pushing the envelope with this look, but she's frickin' JLO. She can pull it off -- and she did. Here, five more celeb ladies who have proven they've got what it takes to rock a "naked" dress with class, as well ...
