Did you hear about Taco Bell's breakfast menu? People who snoozed through the news earlier this week are paying attention now, after hearing what the fast food company's president just said. In a Reddit "Ask Me Anything," Brian Niccol was asked when Taco Bell's breakfast menu would be coming to Canada: "When you take Justin Bieber back," Niccol replied. And just like that, Taco Bell won the Internet for the day.

Remember a couple years ago when we told you about the cupcake ATM that was supposed to be arriving in New York City? The first one went up in Beverly Hills with the promise of another on this coast. And so I waited. And I waited. And I waited. At last, the blessed day arrived. I woke up to the sound of angels singing yesterday morning and didn't understand why until I read the news: The Sprinkles cupcake ATM had finally opened in New York. At last! And because this was clearly very important news, I made a beeline for the ATM to give it a try myself.

Not sure if you got the memo, but Mason Jars are totally in. This old-school canning vessel has been having a "moment" for a while now, and something about their unpretentious nature and simplicity makes it a well-deserved trend. One that is also affordable, and we always love affordable.

I have to admit that I haven't done much with Mason jars beyond storing jams and pickles, but there is SO much more you can make in them -- from delicious desserts to foods to take with you on the road.

Check out these 6 things you can use Mason jars for besides jam right here:

Did you hear about the one about the woman who got upset when a man refused to buy her an ice cream? It wasn't so much upset as infernally furious. A fight broke out between a Florida couple when the man refused to buy his woman a McFlurry dessert. Apparently that dessert meant a whole lot to her. She poured gasoline all over his car and set it on fire ... over a shake.

Okay, I've been accused of taking food way too seriously. But this? This is insane. Oh the crazy things people will do to get their hands on their favorite fast food.

As cool a First Lady as she seems, if you were a pastry chef with a flair for French baking -- think lots of cream and butter and tasty "bad stuff" -- creating magical desserts for uber health-conscious Michelle Obama might not be the ideal job for you. After serving as executive White House pastry chef since he was hired by Laura Bush in 2007, Bill Yosses is stepping down from his position, and everyone -- including Bill -- blames Michelle for his career change.

With spring just a few days away, it seems like we should be breaking out the barbecue and abandoning our favorite winter comfort foods. But not so fast! There's still a chill in the air, which is a good thing, because it means we have the perfect excuse to try this amazing, sumptuous recipe for Slow Cooker Coconut Hot Chocolate.

Yes, you heard that right. Your Crock-Pot truly is the magical cooking tool that keeps giving. You probably already know how to whip up a mean beef stew in your slow cooker, but the rich flavors in hot, tasty beverages like this one are only intensified when you let them sit on low for a few hours. Mmmm ... kinda makes you yearn for a longer winter, doesn't it?

You can have your corned beef and cabbage for St. Patrick's Day. For me the holiday means one thing: What foods can I dye green? I'm not talking already-green foods like broccoli and kale -- those are our everyday foods! (Wink!) I mean, whipping out ye lucky old green food coloring to give everything a bit o' the emerald.

Not every food lends itself well to green food coloring. So here's a few foods you can get away with tinting without (hopefully) ruining your kids' appetites. Or your own.

Toffee is one of my favorite guilty pleasures. When I spot a Heath Bar or a Skor Bar while I'm in line at the grocery store, or at the drug store, or in my dreams, I have a hard time NOT buying it and immediately consuming it as fast as humanly possible. Thankfully for me and my expanding-waistline (#foodbaby), toffee is also one of those things that's pretty difficult to make at home.

It's not impossible, and if you're willing to invest in a candy thermometer, and you have a lot of patience, you can whip up a batch of the sweet crunchy stuff whenever you want in the comfort of your own home. But that's just way too much work for me. That's why when I'm at home without my beloved Heath or Skor to provide me with comfort, I'm partial to the 3-Ingredient Toffee Cookie Bars.
