Krispy Kreme Burgers: Weird or Wonderful?

I can't decide if these Krispy Kreme Bacon Cheddar Cheeseburgers (served for a celebration lunch at Google's New York cafeteria) are mouth-watering or vomit-inducing? Or perhaps just a heart attack waiting to happen?

They look pretty gross to me. I saw Paula Deen make a breakfast sandwich with donuts and I suppose I could see that. But burgers and cheese?? YUCK!

Heart attack! BUT, I would totally try it even though it kind of looks yucky. I love burgers and doughnuts, so why not in the same mouthful. I would leave the bacon off though.

They made these at a burger stand in my home town of Bellingham, Washington. People evidently loved them... its been at least 2 years (because they made them when I was pregnant with my daughter and I did NOT eat them, lol) and as far as I know they are still on the menu. From what I heard its a "salty/sweet" good thing... like dipping your french fries in your milkshake.
