Instead of writing a classic book report on J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit, an 11-year-old student decided to turn in a more creative assignment: He constructed Bilbo's Hobbit hole, Bag End, as a cake!

Looks like someone is quite the fan of Ace of Cakes, eh? I'm definitely impressed.
According to Wired.com, the ground and hill is made of five layers of white cake covered by fondant; the grass is crushed Rice Krispies; and the rocks and chimney are small candies made to look like pebbles.
I wonder what the moms in Cake 101 would have to say about this!
