Domino's Pizza: Have You Tried the New Recipe?

Kim Conte

In the oddest ad campaign of all time, Domino's Pizza blasts its old pizza for tasting like "cardboard," then introduces a new and improved version.

According to the Web site, the new Domino's pizza has:

  • A new garlic-seasoned crust with a rich, buttery taste, baked to a golden brown.
  • New tomato sauce with a medley of herbs and red pepper kick.
  • New cheese made with 100 percent mozzarella flavored with a hint of provolone.

Yikes, what the heck were they using before?

According to both Serious Eats and Stephen Colbert, Domino's new pizza is better.

Have you tried it? Which do you prefer: the old Domino's pizza or the new one? Will you be ordering it for dinner tonight?
