same here!! we call it the "beef log" and it was a tradition to have every Christmas. sometimes we would fry it and include in brunch but it was also always out as an appetizer with crackers and cheese. now that i am married and have kids i have continued the tradition. i buy a small one and will serve with my favorite cheese [cracker barrell sharp white cheddar] and crackers.
