Chanukah begins Friday at sundown. This time of year always reminds me of golden fried potato latkes an old roommate (and dear friend!) used to make—our kitchen would reek of oil for weeks after, but it was definitely worth it. I'm loving these photos of Yukon-Gold Celery Root Latkes from The Kitchen Sink Recipes
