Congrats to Jvargas, Sensimel, Girl_in_the_D, ELAINEK, and Carey2006, the winners of the Wii Cooking Game!
I love to cook but HATE the clean-up afterward. So, the idea of a cooking video game sounds like something I'd love to try...
Cook or Be Cooked is the first video game from the Food Network. The game is designed to teach players real, practical cooking skills (such as browning a steak or preparing lasagna) using their Wii Remote and Nunchuk.
And, of course, there's no clean-up.
Right now on CafeMom, you can enter to win Cook or Be Cooked Wii video game.
To enter to win, tell us...
If you could virtually "cook" one dish, which dish would it be?
Cook or Be Cooked features more than 30 recipes developed by the expert chefs of the Food Network Kitchens. By moving the Wii Remote, you can simulate such cooking skills as flipping pancakes, peeling potatoes, or cracking an egg. You can cook in single player mode, unlocking new recipes as you go; cook side-by-side in cooperative Hot Potato mode for up to four players; or have a competitive split-screen cook-off with two players.
To be entered to win the Food Network's New Cooking Wii Game: Cook or Be Cooked, just leave your answer to the above question in the comments below!

Really any meal would be cool. I am so curious to see how this game works. I love baking so desserts would be nice.
I would love to cook a stir fry! Mine IRL turn out icky.
I'd like to bake a gormet cake! I don't bake in real life, so that would be fun!!
This is cool... The game sounds so interesting! Any dish would be great, but if I had to pick one dish it would be Lasagna!
I think I'd make Pancakes or french toast some sort of breakfast dish
That's a cool game! I think maybe something Italian like Chicken Alfredo or Lasagna. Oh yum, now I'm hungry!

Without a doubt BLACKENED CAJUN HALIBUT!!!!! I miss having a gas cooktop to get the cast iron skillet 'white' hot. The best part about doing it on wii is a smoke-free house while doing it. Oooh, my mouth waters just thinking about it. =)
i would love to be able to cook a real cake from scratch....i am a simple cook and i like to make things easy on myself but if i could do a cake from scratch that would be great :-)
I think it'd be fun to cook something very exotic, perhaps one of the more involved recipes from Julia Child's cookbook! My sister actually has a game like this and has learned a lot of good recipes from it!
Just knowing that i am spending quality time with my kids . teaching them cooking skills and having fun,
