Handling Raw Meat -- The Gross Factor

handling raw meatI'm a vegetarian wannabe who occasionally eats meat, but I always enjoy it a lot more when someone else does the preparing.

I don't mind handling a slab of steak, chops, or even ground turkey ... but whole or parts of chicken? Yuck. To many little jiggly bits and liquids emanating. I'm not too keen on paring the silver skin off tenderloins or skirt steaks, either.

A mom in the Advice for Moms group had the same reaction to a chicken she recently cooked in the crockpot.

Seems lots of meat eaters out there get a little skived by the whole thing.
