Hot Pizza Dip For Your Next Party

by Kim Conte on August 25, 2009 at 11:15 AM

Does your crowd love pizza? What a dumb question—everyone loves pizza!

That's why you should make this super cheesy hot pizza dip for your next party. My brother's girlfriend brought it to our last family get-together, and it was gone within minutes.

Hot Pizza Dip

1 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

3/4 cup Parmesan cheese

1 8 oz. can pizza sauce

Combine cream cheese and Italian seasoning. Mix well and spread over bottom of pan. Lightly toss mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Sprinkle half of cheeses over cream cheese. Spread pizza sauce over cheese. Top with remaining cheeses. Bake 15-18 minutes at 350F. Sever hot with bread slices or chips.

    Sounds awesome!

BUT the recipe didn't say what to do with the other half of the cheese. I am assuming you put it on top of the sauce but it doesn't say.

Sounds delish!  Already have it written down :)  But, does it matter what size pan you use?

Dragonflylov19--I don't think it matter, as long as the cream cheese fits in the bottom of it...I think a pie plate would work well.
