Last week I posted about Hamburger Cupcakes. This week, check out this adorable Hamburger Cake from Millerbunch. I love it!

Hamburger Cake From Millerbunch
2 boxes of Pillsbury cake mix, any flavor
2 cans of frosting (1 white and 1 chocolate)
Red and yellow dye paste or food coloring
Green sugared gummies
2 8-inch round cake pans
2-quart oven-safe bowl
Sunflower seeds or peanut halves (optional)
Prepare the cake mixes as directed on box and pour 4 cups of batter into the greased 2-quart bowl. Bake at 350F for 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Divide the remaining batter between the two greased 8-inch round cake pans. Bake those at 350F for 35 minutes until done.
Meanwhile take 1/2 of the white frosting and reserve for later. Take the other half and add 1/4 cup of the chocolate frosting to make a tan color. Take the reserved white frosting and divide in half, tint one red and one yellow—this will be your "ketchup" and "mustard."
Put one 8-inch cake on a plate, and ice it with the tan frosting. Add the second 8-inch cake and frost it with the chocolate frosting. Then trim the flat side of the bowl cake and place it on top of the two layers; ice that with the tan frosting.
Take the gummies between plastic wrap and roll them out thin to make pickles. Very carefully, lift the cake up in spots and slide the gummies under the layer. Take the tinted icing, and pipe it on with a frosting tip to make it look like ketchup and mustard coming off the burger. Top the "bun" with the seeds or nuts (this is optional).
I think she did a great job, don't you?
