In other ridiculously odd news, a new study finds that people who hold a warm cup of coffee experience a rush of warm feelings. In other words, there is a strong connection between physical warmth and emotional warmth; therefore, taking warm baths, drinking warm coffee or tea, or eating soup makes people act warmer (generous, trusting, etc.) themselves or perceive others as warm people. This is why people who are looking for new relationships—either personal or professional—often meet for coffee.
What do you think? Is there any validity to this study or do you think it's a lot of nonsense?
