Starbucks Plans to Serve Alcohol

Starbucks to sell alcohol

Coffee-mogul, Starbucks, has plans to experiment with alcohol. They are changing the name of one of their Seattle stores to 15th Avenue Coffee and Tea, and, in hopes to boost the less popular evening hours, will be serving wine and beer, ranging from $4-$7.

With the coffee battle between Dunkin Donuts and McDonald's brewing (cheesy pun intended), Starbucks is clearly trying to differentiate itself between its competitors.

Depending on how this experiment goes will determine if they expand the booze sales to other stores. Who knows? You may be ordering a venti wine in the future.

Do you think this experiment will be successful? What do you think about Starbucks serving alcohol?
