This is your lucky day. I'm going to share my secret recipe for turkey burgers. Mr. Cafe Kim actually cooked these last night outside on the grill during a scary thunderstorm—that's how good they are!
Turkey Burgers
1 lb ground turkey
1 egg white
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons barbecue sauce (your favorite brand) Or 1/2 teaspoon steak seasoning/rub
2-3 tablespoons diced red onion
1 pinch hot red pepper flakes or ground chipotle pepper
1-2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
salt
pepper
Combine all ingredients except turkey. Stir well. Add turkey. Mix loosely with hand until just combined. Form patties (about 4-5). Cook on grill over medium-high heat until done (about 4-5 minutes on each side). Be sure patties are thoroughly cooked (no pink in the middle like hamburgers). Serve on buns with favorite burger toppings. Enjoy!
