I shop at Key Food for my meat and fish, Stop N Shop for my produce, cereal and milk (they have the best sales), Whole Foods for certain specialty organic meats, and Trader Joe's for frozen prepared meals.
That's driving, shopping and bagging at FOUR different grocery stores. Not very efficient, I know, but I'm funny about my food purchases and preferences. Some grocery stores are good for certain things, but not others.
I read somewhere that the average person visits the grocery store more than twice a week, and I wonder if a lot of that is for the reason above ...

We go once a week, but each week depends on what store has the better sales and also what we need to pick up. It varies between Winn Dixie, Super Target and Wal-Mart.
I only go once a week - but I go to two different stores - Marc's for paper goods & toiletries and Giant Eagle for meats & veggies - If I had to shop every day...well we'd eat out. Grocery shopping is right next to cleaning up dog poo on my list of things I like to do. LOL

and the smaller family grocery stores for my latin ingredients.. .
Only Whole Foods here, well and the farmers markets.
Now, I'm back in CA, and I shop at my old places, WinCo, Safeway, and Bel-Air/Raley's or Nugget. I love grocery shopping. I'm so weird! My DF hates shopping and would only prefer to shop at one store. I keep telling him that if he wants to save money, we have to shop at different places...
Walmart, Kroger, and if I'm absolutely desperate, the little grocery store in the town I live in. I live in a tiiiiiny little town, and the prices at the grocery store make me grind my teeth! They definately know that you have to drive for 20min to get anywhere else!
first I stop is the corner market ( four miles away) to get meat and veggies then to dollar general to get the stuff i buy there and if I have to next is Walmarts. i try to get as much at the corner market as I can they are a very small chain ( 3 local stores) and i want them to stay in our area. i will pay more for the convenience of having them near by
Krogers is to expensive on the things i get, I won't even walk in to Target because they won't let the Salvation Army collect money at Christmas. in Michigan I used to shop at Meijers but there are none down here in GA
I shop the meat market for my beef, Kroger's for the sale and my Chicken, Wal-Mart for the other things I did not find cheaper at Kroger's and Publics for a special item and of course when I buy fresh vegetables the Farmer's Market the fruits and vegetables are cheap and look alot better.
i shop at meijer once a week and soley base my shopping off the sale adds and coupons i spend 50 dollars a week 60 max for our family of three
i go to walmart for most everything because i know its gonna be the cheapest. but i have discovered they have better meat at Lin's so i go there occasionally. but i wouldn't go in the same day. i mostly grocery shop once a week and occasonally stock up on meat to freeze
