My mom, me, and my sister at our cousin's wedding
Isn't my mom beautiful? Today, my sister and I are surprising her with lunch and a matinee of Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. My mom loves cheesy romantic comedies so it seemed like a great way to celebrate Mother's Day and thank her for being such a great mom.
How are you celebrating this special day with your family?

Well, last night hubby and my 3yro took me out to dinner. This morning, hubby got me cherry turnovers for breakfast, and my oldest three boys gave me their gifts. In a few minutes we will go to church, and later today we will have a lunch/dinner with my mother in law and her mom (hubby's grandma........the great grandma to my boys!)
Oh and hubby isn't letting me clean a thing today or do any "work" with the boys. He got them up, ready for church, made them breakfast.....I'm just so incredibly blessed. :)
Yesterday I got a lovely bunch of beautiful peach colored roses, and a pretty card from hubby!
I also got awesome cards from my kids and they planted some flowers for me! (They worked so very hard!)
Today is lunch out with the MIL's and then a special dinner out tonight for me and hubby!
I'm very blessed to have a great hubby and feel proud I'm a Mother to such great kids.
my mom took her 3 daughters and 5 grandkids to the zoo!! it was so great. this evening my hunny and son are going to help me celebrate mother's day we are going to dinner and hanging out. i couldnt ask for anything more! :)
Hubby and 3 kids finally got me 5 pine trees for the yard. We have lived in this house for 4 yrs and no trees. Now, what a beautiful addition. Had brunch with family at mom's and then dinner at hubby's moms house. all in all not bad, could have gone with a little less fighting from the kids today though:)
The MEN all got together and treated all the Women to a Saturday Brunch-OUT at my brothers home, it was lovely in thought... Bless their hearts... like fish outta water... We finally ate around 3 after getting started at 8am... ha but they put forth a galant effort and We all were impressed they took the time to try...
Sunday was spent quietly at home with my three boys and the hubster falling asleep in my lap... I usually get flowers and gifts but we are in the process of building our house (ourselves) so we are getting lumber tomorrow :-)
Spent the afternoon in the pool splashing around w/daughters, nieces, granddaughters, grandsons, hubbies-- all together there were 3grandmas (including me), 2 older moms, 4 young moms (including 3 of mine). There was bar-be-que and drinks galore... Younger crowd left early because of school or work and older crowd sat around the fire listening to oldies (music)-- some of us dancing in our seats, talking and laughing...it was a very relaxing closure to a perfect day...
