Actually, we buy organic RAW milk from a local dairy.
We always buy organic, I can't even THINK of drinking non organic knowing what's in it. Costco has a great deal on organic milk- 3 half gallons for $10. Still more expensive than non organic milk but compared with the prices for organic milk at other grocery stores... you're pretty much getting a half gallon free.
I actually just started buying organic milk about 1 1/2 months ago. And even though it cost a bit more, I just know it is much better for both myself and my son so it is worth every extra penny. Plus I like the organic milks that are have the extra's like Omega 3's added right in. Great way to keep the heart healthy as well as keeping those yucky added hormones out of the body.
we arctually get organic milk through wic so i get it all the time. my dd already has hormone issues i dont want to put more chemicals in her body.
plus at our commissary the organic milk is the only one with a lid (the other is the old fashioned milk cartons like what you get at schools) so it lasts and tastes sooo much better
We just buy fresh milk from a local farm...but their cows are fed organically and receive no hormones, that kind of stuff.
If we buy milk, which isn't to often, I only buy organic milk.. dd doesn't drink milk because she doesn't like it but dh likes to put milk in his cereal sometimes.. If you find organic milk to expensive I suggest you read the milk letter on www.notmilk.com
Just wanted to add that if you recieve WIC than you can get organic milk on WIC
I get it for my daughter who has just been weened onto regular milk I get whole organic milk by horizon.
