has shoes that make people stop her on the street and ask "Where did you get those?" but it doesn't work for taxi cabs as she was hit by one ... and lived to tell the tale. She has more freckles than Lohan but way less attitude. And she's a fierce cook with tons of recipes to share -- and wishes she could share some with Bourdain.

Strawberry flavored baby shampoo. The nurse call-in line said to give him syrup of Ipecac, so he spent an entire day throwing up rivers and rivers of pink bubbles. Sounds gross.....but it's one of the funniest memories that I have of my little man....he's 24 now.
My son was eating with a plastic spoon and actually bit a piece off of it and swallowed it before I could get it. It was a major freak out for me. But the kids ped said to just let it pass.
Half a cricket...*crrrunch* :P
Desitin (poison control said he'd be fine), vaseline, a ladybug, and chapstick!!
Black crayon when I left him in his highchair coloring at 15 months to go pee quick I freaked out called the Dr. and they said since it was crayola he'd be fine, handfuls of dirt when we were at the playground one time same summer as the crayon he scooped up a handful went for his mouth I said NO he shoved it in then laughed and did it 3 MORE TIMES! Just now told me styrofoam plates- thought they tasted like honey combs cereal!
I was changing my baby one day and my 2 yr old was all eyes. I cleaned the umbilical cord the way the doctor said to waiting for it to fall off. As I was doing this, it fell off. I put it in a container next to me and reached behind me for a baby wipe and when I turned around I noticed it was gone. I then saw my sweet little 2 yr old chewing....and thought to myself "Oh my God"....he was chewing on that old dried up bloody umbilical cord....He eventually passed it but GROSS!!!!!

My 6yr old got hold of a bag of Hershey's kisses when he was 1. Ate 1/2 the bag wrappers and all. I got all the wrappers back in his diaper for several days after that. My 11 yr old ate duck poop when she was a baby. My 9yr old ate a worm as a toddler. My 2yr old ate cat litter.
