Here's a great tip from Ideal Bite:

Use water and white vinegar to wash fruits and veggies before consuming. The combo is tough enough to get rid of dangerous pesticide residue but way cheaper than store-bought washes.

Here's how to do it: Mix 3 parts water to 1 part vinegar in a reusable spray bottle. A few skirts of this liquid on your fresh produce is all you need to clean them thoroughly. Rinse with water after spraying.
