Here's an interesting business concept: A new coffee shop in Maine employs topless servers. Topless. As in, naked from the waist up.
I'm literally speechless.
Have you ever heard of such a thing?
Grand View Topless Coffee Shop opened Monday in Vassalboro, Maine. Customers must be 18 or older and are not allowed to touch the servers—who are both female and male. On opening day, the coffee shop drew about 60 customers—one even left his server a $100 tip!
I'm certainly not one to tell people how to spend their coffee breaks. But I can't for the life of me find a connection between coffee and nakedness. Are business owners that desperate for customers in these trouble economic times that they would do anything to get people in the door? What am I missing?
What do you think?
