Like wings? Then, try this crowd-pleasing recipe from my friend, Ann, who's a huge football fan. It's got all the flavors of hot wings but none of the messy bones. Plus, it's super easy to make.
Touchdown Spicy, Cheesy Chicken
2 to 3 lbs cooked chicken (you can use a whole rotisserie or even leftover chicken)
1-16 oz. bottle hot wing sauce
2-8 oz. cream cheese (can be made with light or regular)
1-16 oz. Ranch dressing (light or regular)
2 cup Colby Jack cheese
1 handful chopped green onions
Shred chicken. Mix with hot wing sauce and put in 9x13 pan. Mix the cream cheese and Ranch dressing and pour over the chicken mixture. Sprinkle the cheese over top and bake at 350 degrees until cheese is melted and bubbly. (Tip: Cover with foil for the first 15 minutes and remove for the remaining time.) Serve with celery or pita chips. Top with chopped green onions.
