Today in Entertaiment Buzz, Cafe Michelle L dishes about Gwyneth Paltrow's healthy living site called GOOP. Now, word on the street is that this super star is working on a new family-oriented cookbook called My Father's Daughter due out sometime next year.
According to the press release, Paltrow's cookbook will focus on "the importance of togetherness at mealtime, emphasizing that cooking for your family is the ultimate expression of love. The recipes have been conceived with the entire family in mind."
Does anyone else think it's totally annoying when celebrities write books about topics they know nothing about just because they can? But in this case, I LOVE Gwyneth and find her writing intelligent and interesting. Plus, she spent months eating her way through Spain with Mario Batali for that PBS show, On the Road Again, so this woman definitely knows food. I have to admit I'm pretty excited to see her cookbook.
What do you think? Would you check out a cookbook by a celebrity?
