Is Eight O' Clock Coffee the Best Coffee?

I've significantly increased my coffee intake the last few weeks because sipping (chugging?) hot beverages is the only way I can seem to keep warm in these sub-zero temperatures we've been experiencing.

Today, I see that the March issue of Consumer Reports rated Eight O'Clock Coffee 100% Colombian the number one best coffee in a taste test of 19 brands.

I can't say I've ever tried this blend but I'm intrigued by the ranking especially because it beat out Folgers (which is one of my favorite brands), Maxwell House, and even (gasp!) Starbucks.

Do you agree with the ranking?

I have drank a lot of coffe in my days and I must say Dunkin Donuts coffee is the best tasting coffee I have ever had! Wow!

I LOVE drinking Dunkin Donuts Original Blend and Dark Roast.. with Coffee mates "Original" liquid creamer and about 1-2 tsp of Liquid Sugar( this is what they use in the DD locations and I have found this is the key to get the same taste at home!

ps: Have you seen the commercial where everyone is shouting on top of their roof about how they love it.. diddo for me!

You know, I voted for the 8 o'clock coffee, but I could have voted for other. I LOVE McDonalds coffee! SO GOOD!

Gevalia coffee is the best, expensive because you pay for the shipping, but the best :) Serious caffeine!

Gorilla coffee, a Brooklyn, NY local company, is my favorite. Anyone can buy it online though. Oooh it's so good I want some now!

i feel BUSTELO COFFEE is the best coffee it has a kick and and pilon and pico.. dont knock it until u try it these coffee are great.. pink ribbon

Green Mountain coffee, I think is even BETTER! They have an AWESOME flavor called Vanilla Cream that totally rocks. I also believe that it is organic fair trade. But yes, Gavalia is a really good brand too. I also enjoy Steep and Brew which is a brand that's somewhat local, it's made in Madison, WI. I'm a bit of a coffee snob. I don't drink most of the coffees that are sold in stores and I get flavored coffees too. Yes, more expensive but SO worth it, IMHO.

I am hooked on Dunkin Donuts coffee. I bought it at Sam's Club b/c I was going through so much of it...I wanted a good coffee in bulk...well...it's fabulous! By far the best coffee I have ever had. Excellent taste! I love flavored coffees so I just buy the big jug of hazelnut creamer that doesn't require refrigeration & flavor it that way. It is yummy!
