A couple weeks back I posted a recipe for quick chocolate cake in a mug and was shocked to see so many negative comments from everyone. Most of you complained that it didn't taste good while others thought it made a mess in the microwave, it wasn't worth the effort, etc.
Since then, someone sent me this recipe for Chocolate Brownie in a Mug, and I'm wondering how this one will fare. I made it in the microwave last night in three minutes and sans any mess, and both my husband and my sister didn't think it was too bad.
It might be a fun project with the kids on their day off today so I'm sharing it here, but I'm a little scared to ask... What do you think of chocolate brownie in a mug?
Microwave Chocolate Brownie in a Mug
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
Dash of salt
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons water
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
Whisk together dry ingredients in a large coffee mug. Add oil, water and vanilla and mix thoroughly. Microwave on high for 1.5 to 2 minutes. It should not be quite set in the center.
